Our Company:   2nd Chance Sports, Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting sports for mature women.  Our primary purpose is to provide opportunities and encouragement for women over 40 to participate in sports, to gain/improve skills, and to improve their general health and well being.  Contact us at:

Our Focus:  Today, our primary focus is senior softball.  We will expand into other sports as we find interest and a demand for our services.

Our Philosophy:   Around the age of 40, many women consider giving up the sports they have participated in.  They can no longer compete with younger women, and their bodies don't work as well as they used to.  Reactions slow down, injuries take longer to heal, some physical restrictions must be accepted, etc.  Some women have never had much, if any, opportunity to participate in sports, yet they would like to.  Older women have often given up the sports they used to enjoy, and they are hesitant to begin playing again.  All these women would, however, greatly benefit by participating in sports designed for mature adults.  They need to be encouraged to become involved with appropriate activities, to learn the skills they need to compete, to learn how to take care of themselves, and to learn to enjoy the camaraderie of working/playing with women their own age.  Both physical and emotional benefits will contribute significantly to improving their overall health.
